We Support Social Change Leaders
We need ballot-measure leaders with the skills to implement them. That’s why the BISC Foundation leads a training program to create advanced ballot measure civic engagement training programs.
These innovative programs are a pipeline for the next generation of ballot measure leaders. We take an active role in creating the capacity needed to create the social change we seek.
The Foundation also provides ongoing technical assistance to civic engagement efforts across the country. Each year, we respond to more than 200 requests from around the United States, addressing a wide variety of issues such as LGBTQ+ equality, women’s health and reproductive justice, collective bargaining rights, voting rights,\economic opportunity, criminal justice, and more.
The assistance we provide includes assessments of the state’s landscape, advice on strategy and tactics, and analyses of funding, budgets, messaging and operations.
